I finally got to see Savannah! I had been there before, but I was helping a friend move, so all I saw was the inside of his old apartment and the interior of his new apartment. This weekend, I saw the Hyatt (and a dance competition where Will Colby and shocked!), And then we wandered up and down River. It 'been a pretty standard tourist area, but it was still fresh. Also, I learned that none of the souvenir shops sell little Kleenex. And we found the really cool eco-square.
Since we were already out in time, and there was still plenty of gas in Ruby, we drove to Hilton Head (because I had never been in South Carolina, either). I got my ass kicked by a traffic circle (a first for me), but I could understand it the second I joined. I was also able to drive on some bridges without hyperventilating, so yay!
Unfortunately, that plague was talking about on Friday? Yes, it was kicking my ass. I got to say, the moment of breaking my fever was a really cool ... messed up, but cool. I was more a bit 'crazy, I think. Still feeling like shit today, but we had a snow day at work. This is a good thing - it means that tomorrow I can take a sick day without feeling guilty. Of course, seeing how I feel, guilty probably will not happen anyway.
I'm going to continue to recover - be glad that you can not take this scourge from the screen of a computer!
