The other day early in the morning, hovering between sleep and the feeling of boredom typical morning of rainy days when you absolutely must get up even if you only want to stay in bed to continue sleeping in the warmth of a maxifelpa on which stands the word
"Chicago" in large letters, covering more than half of the body, I was having breakfast in the usual café and browsing without any particular attention to a colorful magazine and inviting. The eye was immediately caught by an inscription: "minimum daily dose". Without making too case to the fact that precisely the same time, I was eating my "minimum daily dose" of coffee, which is essential to take a look decent, to be kind and helpful and have a threshold of concern that it was close to zero, I continued reading: "It is a sin of gluttony, is a necessity. Cocoa is good, cheers, protects and supports during times of stress. The single-serve are to keep in stock, to be consumed in the most difficult. Especially not by a little: the packages contain the minimum daily dose (1 euro). Nothing prevents you from consuming more. Not much, but when there is half a health ...".
Even during my university years circulating the myth that cocoa would help the memory, the same chocolate that I and my friends, not having line problems, they swallow it without shame.
But what is the "minimum daily dose" of which we have unwittingly need each day? The coffee for those with a slow recovery, or perhaps to relax and take a break, carbohydrates for diet and fitness fanatics, sex to satisfy the body or mind, a new dress from Prada to raise their level self-esteem, a little 'entertainment to escape the monotony of daily routine, a little 'approval to please your ego? And fantasy? What is the "minimum daily dose" of fantasy?
Before the world we must always be the happiest, most beautiful, the youngest, the most rampant, the funniest, the most efficient, the most surprising, the most lovers, the most innovative. We must choose the right dress, the right friends, the right place, the right phrase, the right perfume, the right cereal. What a fantasy, we need to play our role in daily? When we want to impress we must look attractive, regardless enhance our strengths and play down our faults, grant but not too much, avoiding the details become known, outwitting and bluffing why not also, if the stakes are high. But if we want to conquer people on our side or on our bed we have to avoid boredom, banality and scontatezza - almost like the thing that we would never wish for ourselves, much like buying on sale a defective part and not refundable - - the offense today, has become to be themselves in all circumstances? Probably, this is the true luxury of modern times.
