I have no problem with public speaking - I used to teach, so I'm used to standing in front of groups of people and talking about things for hours at a time. I write, so I had some background there.

But I am qualified to talk to other people to write?

Hello bloggy friends! (O blogglings -.. I bit 'like the idea of \u200b\u200bhaving blogglings As servants, only with less easements) Yes, after a long blogging vacation, I'm back. And I'm bringing a change of plans, too! I understand that the attempt to blog on Sunday, has not worked well for me, so I'm switching to a program Monday-Wednesday-Friday. Hopefully that works better for my lifestyle. But if not, I'll try something else.

I hope everyone had a fun holiday season, with the right amount of family and friends and food and beverages. I think I had a perfect balance of this year. My parents and Otter and Panda (and their dog, Bella) came to stay with me for a little over a week, part of the reason for my blog silence. After all, I only see a couple of times a year, so I want to maximize our time together. This was the first time that Otter Panda and was down to see me, so we had to do a lot of things typically southern (including golf in December), and we had to hit all the stores possible. Have I mentioned that my whole family loves shopping? This is a great bonding activity!

I had a semi-quiet New Year's Eve with my SO and a couple of friends. We ate brie and drank champagne. Okay, that sounds more sophisticated than they actually were! In addition to the brie and champagne, we had an awesome cheese, meat, salsa dip of delicious, and chips and dip, milk and moose. Moose Milk? Yes, the moose milk. It is made of awesome Egg Nog with some, ice cream, and alcohol mixed but in reality it is a secret recipe ... Well, not so much. You can Google, but none of the recipes that appear are quite the same as mine. Still, if you do not mind a good, strong drink, I'd recommend giving it a try.

Shortly before collecting my New Year's Eve began, I finished cleaning my apartment. I made eleven loads of laundry, vacuumed everywhere, did the dishes, took out the garbage holiday remaining, and put away all I could find. This left me with a very nice house - and I like to start the new year with a clean house, if only because it means I can slack guilt-free for at least a couple of days.

This year, my cleaning spree was an added bonus: when my hot water heater burst sometime between bedtime and wake up Monday, Tuesday, I had a lot on the floor. This is a very good thing. There was almost an inch of water in my kitchen, hallway and the living room and dining room, the water was up to the top of the carpet.

I woke up this horrible hissing sound, and actually took me a good fifteen minutes to wake up enough to understand what it was. I discovered the source stepping into the corridor and into a lake. Ugh. Mia seemed to enjoy the water, which is odd, given that not going to when it rains outside, and she hates being in the bathtub.

No, I'm late, I am part Ukrainian - Merry Christmas to all who use the Julian calendar rather than the Gregorian calendar. I celebrated the same way my family celebrated for many years I made pierogies for dinner! I went all out, even (relatively speaking). I boiled and then fried them in butter and onions and served with kielbasa. I may or may not have eaten in some kielbasa also ...

also happy post 700th blog! It 's crazy to think that I'm coming with the marks of three years for this blog. Damn!

And for those of you who commented back in October, I have not forgotten! I'll see again soon for a history of the franchise, I swear. I just need to get a few things done before I can put aside the time to make a proper review. I feel that I need to put more effort into reviewing something that I was asked to review what I do for a book that randomly I decided to take, if that makes sense.
